Christian Counseling is supposed to be a remarkable experience. We have an incredible faith, immersed in the power of God who wants to help us. As Christians we have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In the love, power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit we can work in confidence, knowing we are not alone on our journey. God has promised to never turn His back on us – especially in times of trouble. So without shame we cry out to God in prayer, worship and discipline. God gives us courage and hope to overcome our trials and adversities. As creatures of comfort we do not always want to change our habits, yet when compelled by God, He is faithful to see us through.

Understandably, not all pain is caused by our own actions. As social people we are sometimes shaken to the core by family members, friends or even acquaintances that somehow cause us anguish. Though I believe God created us extremely resilient, and “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in time of trouble” (Psalm 41:1) sometimes professional Christian Counseling is needed to help sort out problems. Proverbs 15:22 says that victory comes with many counselors. As an experienced and compassionate Christian Counselor, I can help you see the pieces of the puzzle more quickly and clearly. With awareness and clarity it is possible to make profoundly better choices. That may take time and practice, but with God all things are possible. And with God on our side, how can we fail?
